My Approach To Therapy

My “How”

We all feel lost sometimes, whether within ourselves or our relationships. An insightful therapist can help you find your way home to what feels true and whole ... to you.

I meet you where you are at with authenticity, real talk, and a genuine interest in understanding you and your lived experiences to help you find your way back home.

How I approach psychotherapy and my beliefs around healing

Therapy can be life-changing, especially when it happens in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe that healing begins in relationship, and research agrees: the connection between therapist and client is often the most important part of therapy. That’s why I place the therapeutic relationship at the center of our work, above any single technique or theory.

I lean into the difficult parts of life and having honest and deep conversations—way beyond rehearsed responses. I am anything but a how-does-that-make-you-feel? therapist.

My own life experiences have shaped the way I show up in the therapy room: with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for your story. I draw from a wide range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and more. But I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe the best therapy is whatever helps you heal.

I have an integrative and holistic approach, with a foundation in deeper therapies like psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and existential work. I also bring specialized training as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and Certified Anxiety Professional (CAP), which helps me support clients through the impacts of trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming life transitions.

Healing doesn’t always happen in neatly timed 50-minute sessions. That’s why I offer 1-, 2-, and even 3-hour sessions, based on what you need and where you are in your process. We’ll work together to create a rhythm that supports your healing in the most meaningful way.

Whether you're managing a diagnosis or simply feeling lost inside your roles, relationships, or sense of self—you are welcome here with me. You don’t need to be “sick” to deserve support. Sometimes, the pain we carry isn’t a disorder—it’s a signal that we’ve lost connection with ourselves.

There is light at the end of the tunnel—and that light is you. I’d be honored to walk beside you. Reach out to schedule a free consultation.

If you feel overwhelmed and burnt out by adulting

You’ve worked hard to get where you are in your life. Whether you pursued a career, built a business, showed up for your family, or did all of it as many of us do, you juggled intense responsibilities. And you did all this while keeping it together on the outside. From the outside, it may look like success. But on the inside, it might feel… disconnected. Like something important has been left behind.

I understand, because I’ve lived it.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I was an attorney and business owner—driven, ambitious, and always pushing forward. I also balanced being a mother in the midst of it all, which added layers of both joy and exhaustion. I know what it’s like to perform, to lead, to succeed—and still feel like some essential part of you is waiting underneath it all, unseen.

So many high achievers reach a point where their outer success begins to feel like a mask. The passion that once lit the fire now feels like pressure. The presence gets lost in performance. And underneath the doing, there’s a longing to come home to yourself.

In therapy, I offer a space where you can finally exhale. A place where you don’t have to prove anything. Where we can gently explore who you are beneath the roles and the expectations. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that once helped you survive and may now be holding you back from the life you deeply want to live.

This work isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about reconnecting with what’s real. With what’s you.

If you’re ready to lead your life—not just your work—from a place of clarity, alignment, and authenticity, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.

Whenever you're ready, let’s begin that journey toward authenticity together. I’m here

If you’ve experienced trauma and feel disoriented

Living with the effects of trauma can feel heavy and at times deeply isolating. But you don’t have to carry it alone—not anymore. This work is deeply personal to me. I am not only a trauma therapist—I am also a trauma survivor.

While my journey has not been easy, I’ve found healing and wholeness on the other side—with the help of skilled, compassionate therapy and support.

Because of this, I hold a profound respect for the courage it takes to show up, to speak your truth, and to begin again. My own lived experience informs my work just as much as my clinical training.

In addition to my foundational training as a psychotherapist, I’ve pursued advanced education in trauma treatment and am a Certified Trauma Professional. This means I bring both clinical expertise and deep compassion to our work together.

In our therapy sessions, you’ll find a steady, supportive space where you can begin to feel safe again—in your body, your mind, and your relationships. You are welcome to bring all parts of your story, even the ones that feel too painful, too much, or too hidden. There’s no timeline for healing, and no pressure to be anyone but who you are, right here and now.

Trauma may have shaped part of your path, but it doesn’t have to define your future. Together, we’ll gently explore, restore, and reconnect—to your strength, your voice, and your sense of self.

You are not alone anymore. And you don’t have to pretend to be okay. I see you, and I’m here—ready to walk beside you when you’re ready.
