Rachel Writes
I'm a psychotherapist, and I'm also a writer.
I'm at work on a book — a braid of memoir and the science of trauma, written from both sides of the table: as someone who grew up inside the research, and as the clinician later trained to name it. It's about what survival builds, what it costs, and what becomes possible when the body no longer has to earn the right to exist.
While it finds its publishing home, I write essays in that same voice at Rachel Dennis Writes on Substack — on trauma, healing, family, and the long work of becoming whole at racheldenniswrites.substack.
